Hip-Hop dance has a strong foundation in B-boying (Break Dance), Popping, and Locking. Other notable styles are Krumping, House, and New Jack Swing.

Hip-Hop dance has its own technique which is also taught separately as a technique class.


what to expect:

Hip Hop dance classes are high energy, with an emphasis on building confidence through movement.

At the foundation level students will learn body positioning, basic footwork, and basic timing within choreography.

Intermediate will begin to focus on body control, musicality, and introduce intricacy through choreography.

Advanced will cover movements balancing between flow and a high level of intricacy. a higher ability of musicality and body control is necessary at this level.

Attire: Loose pants, or sweats. Tennis shoes, or any athletic shoe.
